The U5 Wireless Audio for Video System is a versatile audio solution for video production and other speech-recording applications. It can be used to send audio wirelessly from the included LV1 lavalier microphone (via the system’s beltpack Transmitter) to the Receiver, which can be connected to a DSLR/video camera or audio device. The larger U5T2 set comes with two beltpack Transmitters and two lavalier microphones, allowing you to send wireless signals from two lavalier microphones or other audio sources to a DSLR/video camera or audio device.

The system transmits audio from the included lavalier microphone through the transmitter to the receiver, which connects easily to DSLRs, video cameras, mixers, or audio recorders.
A key highlight of the U5 is its 24-bit / 48 kHz audio quality, global-compatible 2.4 GHz wireless, and dual-channel True Diversity receiver equipped with four antennas to ensure maximum stability and significantly reduce dropouts or interference during filming.
The removable U5B battery provides up to 5 hours per pack, and users can instantly swap batteries for continuous shooting—ideal for long productions such as shows, interviews, weddings, and vlogs. The system also supports operation while charging.
